One map for everyone
The Wilds are built from the date. Every raider on earth gets the same hills, groves, ruins and beacons until midnight UTC, with a seed number to compare notes. Tomorrow it is gone.

A salvage station on the edge of the storm. Every day a new wilderness rolls in for the whole world. Get out there, strip what you can, and make the last beacon home.
Hollowmark is a free extraction game you play in your browser, in alpha. Every day at midnight UTC a new map called the Wilds is built from the date, and every player raids that same map. You drop in alone, with a crew on a room code, or with strangers, salvage scrap, copper wire and relic cores for 12 minutes, and get out through a beacon before the storm closes. It is for players who like short, tense runs where everything is on the line: die and you drop everything you carry. To play, press Enter the station, walk to the Gate and pick how to drop in.
Hollowmark starts at Hollowmark Station, a rail-depot salvage settlement built around the glowing Relic Engine that everyone online shares. Walk up to the vault-door Gate, the boxcar stash, the salvage bench, the departures board with the day's best hauls and the Locker, and talk with the other raiders in chat. Nobody can fight in town.
Through the Gate are the Wilds: a 300 by 300 meter map built from the date, the same for every player until midnight UTC. A raid lasts 12 minutes. The storm starts closing at 2:00, the two extraction beacons open at 6:00, and at 12:00 the storm takes everyone still out there. Stand in a beacon for five seconds to get out with your haul. Die and your pack lies on the ground for someone else.

Drop in at the edge of the map. At 2:00 the storm starts closing on a point near the middle, at 6:00 extraction opens, and at 12:00 the storm takes all. Standing in the storm hurts.
Hold E on a pile to salvage it. Scrap is worth 10, copper wire 35 and a relic core 150, and they weigh 1, 2 and 5 against a carry limit of 20. Every point of haul you carry out is a point of Salvaging XP.
Each day has seven named ruins, from the Old Mill to the Substation, ringed by broken walls. One of them is the Vault: three relic cores inside and four hollows on guard. The other ruins have two.
Hollows guard the ruins and wander the land. Scavenger crews drop in too: they loot, fight and extract on their own. Click to swing at anything that comes for you, and step out of a fight to heal.
Two beacons, the Hollow Gate and the Ridge Beacon, sit near the storm's center. Once they open, stand in one for five seconds. Die and you drop everything you carry, and keep a quarter of the XP for what you salvaged.
Salvaging levels from 1 to 99 on a long curve. Higher levels salvage up to 40 percent faster and give up to a 25 percent chance to find double scrap or wire.
A rail-depot salvage settlement around the Relic Engine, shared by every raider online. Chat with Enter, check your stash in the boxcar and your Salvaging at the bench, and read the departures board for the best hauls carried out today.
Twenty-six looks across headgear, outfits, packs and trails, from the Drifter Hood to the Crown of Ash. They open from your Salvaging level, extracts, relic cores carried home and raids played, and you try them on in the Locker. Looks never change stats.
Start a crew and send the four-letter room code, or drop in with strangers. Crewmates never hurt each other. Everyone else in the raid can.

Each day's seed now rolls a modifier, like Hollow Night, Double Storm or Relic Surge, so every day's Wilds plays differently for everyone.
Hollowmark 0.2.6 makes every swing hit hard: hit freeze, camera kick, knockback and ember sprays.
Hollowmark 0.2.5 makes every hit land on screen: damage numbers, hit markers and a live kill feed.
Playing as a guest? The daily board now shows where your best haul would place, and you can sign in right from the board in town to start posting.
New raiders now get short field notes on their first raids, and the death screen tells you what got you and what to try next time.
When two raiders carry out the same haul, the one who got out faster now ranks higher on the daily board.
Salvaging levels much faster now, and you earn XP for making it out early, putting down hollows and scavs, and cracking the Vault.
Hollowmark 0.2.0 is live: a rebuilt station, all-new characters, 26 cosmetics to earn and an original soundtrack.
