Ranks are for the players who help the most. They are permanent, and they mean first access to what we make next.
Alpha Tester
The first wave. Hand-picked, plays the roughest builds, gets the private channels. The rarest badge we give out, and it is permanent.
Beta Tester
The second wave. Opens when a game hits beta, announced in the Discord first. Permanent badge.
Playtester
First in line for new patches, maps, and every future Mutiny game.
Bug reports
Reports that get fixed.
The faster we can make a bug happen on our end, the faster it is gone. Post it in that game's bug forum with these six things.
- Which game and where: the mode, map or screen you were on.
- What you did: the steps right before it happened, in order.
- What you expected and what happened instead. One sentence each.
- Your setup: browser, desktop or phone, and the graphics preset if the game has one.
- A screenshot or a short clip if you can grab one.
- Can you make it happen again? Say yes, no or sometimes.

Is the Discord free?
Yes. Joining the Mutiny Discord is free, and so are the games we have shipped.
Do I need Discord to play the games?
No. Every playable game runs in your browser on its own. The Discord is where you get builds first, find people to play with and tell us what to fix.
How do I become an Alpha Tester?
Alpha Testers are hand-picked from the first wave of players. Show up, play the rough builds and write useful bug reports, and you are on our radar.
Where do I report a bug?
In the bug forum for that game in the Discord. Use the checklist on this page so we can reproduce it.
